Mr.
Chu Chinese Cuisine
- I haven't run across
too many packed
restaurants recently
which is probably an
indication of how
tight the home budgets
have become. The good
news for consumers is
there are some deals
to be had for full sit-down meals. One
such deal is the lunch
special at Mr. Chu
where two can sit down
and dine for under
twenty dollars
including soft drinks
and the tip.
I
started this cold
winter day with the
Won Ton soup which was
very tasty and filling
then onto the Szechwan
Beef which was also
tasty and refreshingly
spicy. The
shrimp and cashews
with rice was
flavorful and
perfectly portioned. The whole
meal was great, not
overly filling but
completely satisfying
without costing a
fortune.
Mr. Chu
has a brisk take-out
business and loyal
following which
apparently is keeping
this place humming
along in this
difficult economy.
Looking for places
that are easy on the
wallet is a must for
many these days.
To be able to find a
place as reasonable as
this with full service
is great because it
allows people to
go out to eat and
enjoy a meal with no
worries, which is
often quite
therapeutic.
Times
today can be
stressful and
complicated but the
lunch special at Mr. Chu
was simple, filling
and tasty plus having
money left over after
the bill is paid is a
good feeling indeed. -
