Who is Lawrence?
The course of my life changed the day a bolt of lightning struck me. My view of the world changed that day forever. The path toward enlightenment wasn't easy but once I arrived a peaceful calm came over me like a hurricane pulling out to sea. I became enlightened, but how? My journey has been complex and turbulent and looking back I have pinpointed what it took to get where I am now. I became awake. The negative influences in my life that drained me day after day are gone. The bolt of lightning that struck me years ago has given me enormous clarity and vision. I love everyone and wish them well on their life's journey. So why should I listen to you is a common reaction and one I would have if reading this. For me the why would be growing by visiting the site everyday and learning about the awake program. You can't get anything out unless you put something in If you don't feel like waking up then just cruise through life same old same old. Now you are wondering how is this guy going to help me? The honest truth is I'M NOT. You are going to help yourself and you can be proud of yourself and enjoy all the credit of getting where you want to be. It's all up to you because all I provide is an intellectual path to get there.
Here's the first piece of wisdom I want to share with you. A positive spirit attracts positive energy. Negativity attracts negativity and how we react to any given circumstance will often determine the outcome.
We are living in a unique time. The disaster of September 11th. brought us to a standstill. The unthinkable happened and we as individuals had to decide how to react. Out of this horror came unbelievable displays of caring and positive action. Thousands of people came forth to help without thought of their own comfort and expense. In addition to the brave individuals who worked at the disaster site, many opened up their homes to those without shelter. Companies donated and cooked food for all involved with the disaster. Through all this people began to display behavior that has been missing for a very long time. It was an awakening and now that we have everyone's attention we must find a way to sustain the positive energy. It's important that each of us maintain the attitude that positive thoughts and actions are contagious. Maintaining a positive attitude and forward-thinking energy can certainly enrich our life experience. One must, however, not allow stupidity to slip into the mix. We live in a world that is not always filled with bright light and good wishes. Of late we have seen examples of business principals that while masquerading as intelligent initiative, in reality are nothing more than greed and dishonesty. This behavior will always exist, but an alert person can stop its forward motion. People are suddenly more alert. We are at a time in history when the tide can change. Those with integrity need to become awake.
